Standing at the crossroads
Slovenia combines different influences (Slavic, Austrian/German and Italian) and offers a variety of landscapes for a rather small country.
Ljubljana, Piran, Škofja Loka, Ptuj are wonderful places to visit, but these are just a few names.
If I had to pick one famous Slovenian, I would definitely go for Zoran Mušič, one of the most amazing painters of last century!
